Catherine is a junior Psychology major and Spanish minor. She has wanted to study abroad in Spain since her freshmen year of high school. She has been studying Spanish for 6 years.

She chose the IES Granada program because it offers intensive Spanish immersion, interesting and unique classes, the option to take a class at the infamous University of Granada, and the choice of having an internship.

Catherine hopes to someday be fluent in Spanish and thinks the practice of speaking everyday will help immensely. During her semester abroad Catherine plans to take Cross-cultural psychology, watercolor, and a Spanish course. She also hopes to continue working in a school as she does in Walla Walla here in Granada and wants to take an education course at the University of Granada.
