About Me

Hi! My name’s Levi : )

If you don’t know me I’m a Rhetoric, Writing, and Public Discourse Major and also an Economics major (for now). I’m graduating spring of 2025, and am super excited to be in Berlin for the semester! (As a working class student, I really never thought I’d be able to leave the country before, so this is like, double-y exciting.)

My program is specifically about city living and urban planning. So, I hope to spend as much time as possible exploring the city and putting the things I’ve learned in the classroom to use. Look out for many cool photos of buildings, roads etc. I’ve been doing a lot of prep-reading on this topic as well so maybe sharing some wisdoms :).

My main goals in writing this blog are as follows:

  1. Be a resource to other working class or queer students who are considering going abroad. I’ll share finances, resources, places to go, all of it!
  2. Document my time as a point of reflection for myself and others.
  3. Hold myself accountable in really making the most of my study abroad. If I go into hermit-mode, how would that be interesting for the blog?

I’ll also be documenting some goals here, both academic and personal, throughout this semester. So if that interests you, tag along for the ride in that little subscribe box down the page!
