Classes have started!

Hi all,

Back with more updates!

Classes started last week and it is an adjustment for sure! The large lecture-filled classes with 200+ students is a huge change but two weeks in now and I would say it is going smoothly! I am trying to balance doing homework, volunteering, traveling, and still exploring the city. The homework load is a lot more than I expected but it makes sense because most classes only meet a week here. I am volunteering at Amsta which works with the elderly who have mental and/or physical disabilities. There are a ton of different volunteering opportunities here! I have a couple of trips planned out so far. This weekend will be Dublin, Ireland. Then in two weeks Basel, Switzerland and in October, Paris!

Biking has become a daily activity and the main form of transportation although rush hours are stressful! Local parks host cultural events on the weekends that are filled with beer, people dancing, and live music. My friends and I tried a local Ethiopian restaurant and my reviews are raving! The city is becoming more and more diverse as I explore different parts.

I wish the best for my upcoming trips!
