Concord Floral: A New Season Blossoms

Harper Joy Theatre is kicking off the 2020-21 season with a fully online production of CONCORD FLORAL, written by Jordan Tannahill, directed by guest artist Emily K. Harrison. This is the only full-length play the Department will be presenting during the Fall semester.

About the play:

Concord Floral, a one-million-square-foot abandoned greenhouse, is a refuge for neighborhood kids; a place they have all to themselves, a space in which to dream, dare, and come of age. But buried inside is a secret no one wants to confront, and when two friends stumble upon it they set off an eerie and unstoppable chain of events. A contemporary reimagining of Boccaccio’s medieval allegory The Decameron, this supernatural thriller tells the story of ten suburban teens who must come to terms with a mysterious plague of their own making.

The production will be streamed October 15 – 18
